Singapore Flyer. The moment i heard that the whole seondary three cohort in my school was going to the singapore flyer ,i was extremely elated .But due to acro-phobia i had,i was quite reluctant to go.but i summoned all m y courage and decided to go and grab this oppourtunity to get rid of my phobia.i was really looking forward to the ride .I was also relly looking forward to see an wonderful spectacular birds eye view of our wonderful city. The moment before we enter the flyer,i was really anxious and having sweaty palms.but i was prepared for the rid
As the flyer was moving up i stood rooted to my seat. All my friends were practically walking around .As the flyer moved higher and higher ,fear mounted my heart .I did not dare look down. The least i could risk was to peep over my book. What I saw made me forget to breathe. I was mesmerised by the spectacular view of the nation.I could not believe my eyes.once the flyer reached the maximum point,i was absolutely stunned by the wonderful and beautiful view.Famous, recognised and prominent places of singapore could be seen from where i was.EG:Merlion,Raffles place and many more.I could hear nothing but the cacophony of students chatter.
It was a wonderful thrilling experience i had.Its a unforgettable memorable experience.I felt very fearful initially as i boarded the flyer. But as the flyer moved higher ,i could not keep still i decided to stand up and look at the view. The view that i saw had made me inspired me to overcome my fear for heights.my expectations were not much as i had fear for heights. But it was definitely a worth while trip.
The most funniest incident that entertained us in my capsule was me myself.I was afraid of heights thus i refused to stand up.And all my friends were teasing and laughing away at me.But i was ignorant to their laughter.
From my point view I think it is a very worth it and enriching trip. This trip was in conjunction with my subjects. It benefitted me a lot.I learnt a lot from this trip.In a scale of 1 to 5 ranging from 1 poorest and 5 excellent.i would rate this trip a 5 and i would strongly encourage other students to enrol for this trip as it is very beneficial.
